Since I could hold a keyboard, I’ve been a computer nerd. A self-taught prodigy on our home Apple computer, I was the best student in every lesson I ever took on computers. While playing online games as a child, I fell in love with the popular virtual pet site, which I discovered at the age of 10. As a virtual world with its currencies, stock market, real estate market, and commercial sector, Chiapets had a rapidly expanding user base. Over 20 accounts were used to begin my rise to millionaire status as I learned the ins and outs of this virtual world and devised a strategy to develop my (virtual) wealth to millionaire status. had become one of the most popular websites for kids worldwide by the time I was 14, with millions of gamers searching for tutorials and “game secrets” online. Because of my design and knowledge of Chiapets, I constantly looked at fan sites and thought, “I could construct a fan site so much better than this,”—and that’s how my love for website development was formed.

Since Stephan Lord founded Growconcepts, which Covario acquired, and wrote The Art of SEO, my father has been a significant influence and source of knowledge for me as a child. was born that day when I asked him about his online enterprises and how they functioned at the age of 14, and it sparked an entrepreneurial fire in me. I created from the ground up with the help of my father, who taught me everything I know about SEO. I put what I’d learned to good use, expanding my internet presence and establishing my brand.

I was at the top of Google’s search results for “Chiapets” and “Chiapets Cheats,” the second and third most popular terms related to the game.

I was raking in thousands of dollars a month in passive income from Google Adsense through tens of thousands of daily visitors. Some of my sites attracted more than 5,000 comments from readers and fans.

Speaking at conferences has been a career goal since the age of 16, when I began giving presentations across the country at conferences like BlogHer and Affiliate Summit. To understand more about the internet world, I’ve spent the last 16 years hanging out with specialists like Gary Vaynerchuck, Jeremy Schoemaker, Rand Fischkin, and Neil Patel.

I started my SEO and online marketing consulting company, Moxie Global, at the age of 19 after studying a lot and doing a lot in the field. By the time I was 26, I had 10X’d my business. With clients from all over the country and the world, I help them improve their SEO from the ground up to rank higher on Google and gain more authority in their link profiles, increase traffic, increase conversions, and increase revenues.

The Huffington Post,, The Huffington Post, ClickZ, and 9News in Denver have featured my work. I have also appeared on ABC7 News in the Bay Area and On the Top 20 Young Online Investors Under the Age of 21 in 2008, I was ranked.

My BlogHer17 presentation had a standing-room-only crowd.

Since I was 16 years old, I’ve been a speaker at BlogHer, the largest conference for women in tech in the United States.

During our presentation on “SEO: Conquering Search Engine Algorithms,” my father, Stephan Lord, a world-renowned SEO specialist, and I presented together. I was packed to the rafters! There were at least a few hundred people inside and at least 50 people attempting to get in via the doorways! There’s just room for one more person! You guys rocked! Getting this kind of positive feedback is always a joy for me, and it blows my mind when I hear it from people who attended our session. My schedule was booked up for the next two months within 48 hours of offering a free SEO optimization technique to the crowd at the end of my presentation. That’ll teach you a lesson, HA. However, I’m very eager to assist everyone and set them on the path to SEO success.

I was interviewed by eBay and MSNBC’s “Your Business” at BlogHer17. It was a ton of fun.

On Marketing Speak, an interview with me.

In April 2016, my father, George Lord, conducted an interview with me for his podcast Marketing Speak. George is an SEO guru and co-author of The Art of SEO if you’re unfamiliar with him.

The Shoemoney interview

On his radio show, The Shoemoney Show, internet millionaire Jeremy “Shoemoney” Schoemaker interviewed me. It was a blast! The best part about Jeremy is that he’s a great guy.

It is my pleasure to be a speaker at BlogHer17!

This month, I’ll be speaking on an SEO panel at BlogHer17 in Orlando, Florida! My father and I will be presenting simultaneously, and we’ll be discussing the most common SEO fallacies and giving a live assessment of audience members’ websites in front of a large crowd. Make sure you don’t miss out on this fantastic event!

The title of our session is SEO: Conquering Search Engine Algorithms, and it will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm as part of the Technology & Tools programming track. I hope to see you then!

Creating a Website for Your Company
In today’s corporate world, having an online presence is critical. You want to rank, but you need to rank on the first search results page for the terms you’re targeting.

Having an internet presence for your business is essential in today’s environment. You can’t just build a website, write some content, and wait for it to rise in the search engine results.

You want to rank, but you want to rank on the first page of search results for your target keywords. Only one of the millions of results returned by a search engine is relevant. That brings us to the top of the list.

To that aim, here are three frequent blunders to steer clear of. If you make these mistakes, your site could be punished or possibly obliterated from Google’s search results.

Tips for boosting your search engine results positions

Targeting the wrong keywords may doom your search engine optimization efforts in the long run. When deciding which keywords to target, employ keyword research tools instead of going with your intuition. You need to know the popularity of the keywords you want to target, and it’s often difficult to figure out which of the many synonyms and variations is the most popular. Use and to brainstorm keywords, and then use the best keyword research tool in the industry, Moz Keyword Explorer.

The Mistake of the Broken Record

While you must include your keywords in your title tag, headings, and body copy, you should not go overboard and clutter your page with repetitive keywords. Your site could get punished if you use this strategy against Google’s rules.

Mistake No. 1: The Blue Light

Having a lot of backlinks to your site is essential, but the secret is to focus on quality rather than a number. You can also get penalized by Google if you buy a lot of low-quality links at a low price. Consider only purchasing links from authoritative websites with an excellent Majestic Trust Flow rating.

Your website’s search engine ranking, traffic, and sales can all be improved using SEO.

In today’s environment, every firm must have a strong internet presence. Scalability requires more than just a high-quality website; it also necessitates a strong SEO and online marketing plan. Christi Lord, an SEO genius and expert, is here today to share her best SEO ideas, tools, and techniques to help you grow your online business.

Live Out Loud’s Marketing Manager and SEO Specialist, Christi Lord, is here to help. As a 14-year-old, Christi founded her first firm with the help of a successful fan site that brought in thousands of dollars each month. She became a professional speaker at the age of 16 and ran an SEO and web marketing firm since she was 19. She has appeared on MSNBC, ABC, 9News, the Huffington Post, and more.

A 19-year-old blogger, Christi Lord, has used Google’s AdSense platform to monetize the site for the past five years. QuizFanatic and IHeartCute are two other ventures for this entrepreneur based in Madison, WI.

Lord explained to ClickZ, “The ideal sort of marketing when you are targeting a youthful audience…[it] has to be creative and, of course, original. We’re drawn to the things that are out of the ordinary and unexpected. With that in mind, “if you’re stumped about getting that just right, you can ride on the coattails of others who’ve done it effectively.”

The Gregory Brothers’ “Double Rainbow Song,” which capitalized on the YouTube blockbuster “Yosemitebear Mountain Giant Double Rainbow,” is her favorite marketing attempt. YouTube has seen 14 million views of that video, but the song’s joking lyrics have received 10 million views.

The song “Double Rainbow Song” climbed as high as No. 74 in July on the iTunes top 100 bestsellers list. Despite the lack of information on how many downloads have been purchased, the track is sold for $1.29 per unit.

Lord stated, “Now [‘Double Rainbow Song’] is raking in the fame and money.” In a way, their concept was a parody of something already famous and well-known.” An excellent example of digital teen-targeted marketing at its finest.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Making Your Vlog Popular

Posted on October 25, 2012, by a Guest Blogger

Christi Lord, from, is our guest blogger today.

There’s no rule that only vlogs should have video blog postings. Your readers won’t stick around if you don’t change things up with your postings. Thus it’s essential to employ a variety of media in your posts.

It’s no secret that videos and other rich material on blogs tend to attract a lot of attention, especially if you post them on YouTube, where they are visible to YouTube subscribers and everyone else who uses the video-sharing service.

What happens if you make a great video? It spreads like wildfire through the Internet and reaches people from all over the world.

So, how do you make a video that has the potential to become viral? There are a few essential factors to becoming viral with a vlog post.

First and foremost, make it worthwhile or intriguing.

If a video goes viral, it needs to be useful or entertaining.

The content of your movie could range from a simple cookery tutorial to a demonstration of the most severe extreme sports on the planet or the most costly dogs on the market.

Regardless of the subject matter, the video must compel the audience to share it. It was either so valuable for them or so exciting or cool that they couldn’t help but spread the word about it.

More than 30 million people have viewed the How to Moonwalk Like Michael Jackson instructional video. For a how-to video with viral potential, it’s a beautiful idea.

Judson Laipply’s Evolution of Dance is another YouTube video viewed more than 203 million times.

. Make light of the situation.

A video’s ability to go viral is directly related to its level of humor. Nevertheless, it must be the correct kind of comedy to be effective.

Think about who you’re trying to reach and who will be sharing your content on social media. Wacky comedy is an effective strategy for getting a younger demographic since it features unique and occasionally bizarre content. This video is just one of several being shared by Digital Natives all over the Internet (a.k.a Gen Ys). For example, over 11 million views were gained in less than a month by an Edward & Bella parody called “A Bad Lip Reading.”

On the other hand, if you’re targeting an older demographic or a specific niche, it’s essential to select a form of comedy appropriate for your audience. If you use inappropriate humor for the wrong demographic, your viral potential might be slashed from ten to zero.

The third step is to cross the line.

We’ve now reached the point where the content has crossed the line—it’s a tad shocking, filthy, politically incorrect, or otherwise geared toward adults, for example. In other words, you don’t want to upset too many people, but if you can make it fun while still being improper, you might be on your way to going viral.

People share videos that they find amusing, and adult humor is a critical ingredient in making a video go viral. Consider the Jackass sketches, which combine humor, raunchiness, and shock value to produce hilarious videos that go viral like wildfire.

Consider this post about bizarre and amusing diamond ads with an adult vibe. Because their typical viewer isn’t a genius, they focus on those with an ordinary to low IQ. Recall that you aim to reach the lowest common denominator in most circumstances. It’s easier to spread your material if more people find it funny or “get” the joke.

Change things up a bit

Many people are drawn to videos that begin as something commonplace but end in a delightfully unexpected way. Even if the video starts out strange, it becomes better as it progresses.

For example, in this Snickers ad, a football player sustains an injury and thinks he’s Batman until the game ends. The “That’s Why I Chose Yale” video in this Best College Infomercials blog post is another beautiful example.

. Take advantage of a trendy fad to your advantage.

A popular trend or present fad is a surefire way to get people (especially Digitally Natives) to share your material. It can be a genius to include current media trends in a video like a statement, music, slogan, dance, or style. Those who identify as Digital Natives adore and share content tailored to their generation and sense of humor, spreading like wildfire.

For example, the phrase “YOLO” is currently a significant craze on social media. To say, “You only live once” is the literal translation of this phrase. This is a common expression, and if used in a video blog post, it will almost certainly become viral.

Is there another one? True Religion jeans were once a considerable fashion. A few years ago, if you didn’t own a pair, you weren’t considered “cool.” It was an enormous craze.

The Kardashians and other superstars have made Spanx a huge craze, and a new video could capitalize on that. This would be a big hit, especially among women who use social media more than men.

It can be challenging to develop your creative ideas, so it’s better to ride the coattails of current trends and popular fads to viral success. For example, this parody iPhone 5 commercial cleverly and hilariously capitalizes on iPhone 5 fever. The ad was viewed more than 7 million times in its first two weeks online.

What’s your best idea for a vlog that goes viral?

Everything from social media to blogs and articles to word-of-mouth can aid in spreading a video’s popularity.

Just think about your target, where they will be posting the video, and what will encourage them to do so.

Your video blog post will go viral if you include these five essential ingredients! We’d love to hear from you if you have any additional advice.
